Slaughter's Grill

A 'hole in the wall' restaurant in a town I've never heard of. And we decided to go on a whim. But, the food is outstanding. Their shrimp and grits meal is a steal, and possibly the best I've ever had. My wife loved the flavor of the ribeye. They have a wide variety of sides. The sides we chose were delicious. Dessert was awesome. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the place was icing on the cake. If you're at Callaway Gardens, I strongly recommend this place in Shiloh, less than 20 minutes away.

Food is very good. The atmosphere is appropriate for the area, believe me, you will understand what I mean if you find this place. Only restaurant for likely 15 square miles. The staff/owner appreciate a good football game or sporting event. Sort of feels like a slightly less casual sports bar.
