So I’m leaving the store and I’m getting ready to walk out and this man stop me talking about he from asset production and they was watching me and i was altering prices like what does that even mean? So we go to the little loss prevention room and he going thru everything in my recepit then he gets to a dress i bought and said it’s not on my recepit and was like it could’ve been a mistake but they have to treat it as theft. He ends up letting me go because i “cooperated” with them. And i know for a fact i ring the item up before i leave i check my recepit again and i see the dress. So i walked back to the room and knocked on the door and asked what is this and he says he needs to talk to the department manager so we go and he confirms that it’s the same dress that i had in my bag on my receipt. He claims the numbers was cut off on the end if you really knew your job and knew what you was doing you could’ve counted the items on my receipt and matched them with what i had in my cart. But no you embarrass in front of the store and make it seem like I’m a shoplifter. I’m a female alone in the store getting approached by two men accusing me of stealing when i never did. I felt like i was targeted. I spent over 60$ in the store and they made a big scene over a 7$ dress are you serious i work hard all week long just to come in Walmart and get accused of shoplifting. I already called corporate and filed a complaint with ethics I’m going back to get the names. NEVER AGAIN will i spend my money in this Walmart AGAIN !!!!
