Stricklands Restaurant & Catering

Everyone always talks about how great Strickland's is for breakfast, but since I'm not really a breakfast food kinda person, I go here for lunch. A LOT. In fact, it's my favorite lunch spot in Athens. It's a cafeteria-style meat-and-two-sides traditional Southern restaurant that has been doing things the same way for over 50 years. There are several different meats and sides to choose from each day, and every day is something different. I love all the food options here, but my go-to meal that I never tire of is steak and gravy with potato salad, green beans, and a biscuit.

If you like a great meal at a great price you'll love it here. I always get friendly service at Strickland's. The staff here are simply one of a kind. I be would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves a really great tasting meal. The food here is always delicious and I never leave wanting more. They have the best breakfast and lunch you will ever find around this area.
