This convenience store could be
the poster store for price gouging!
For example;
I stopped in for a bag of chips,
which cost $2.00.
I tried to pay for them with my
debit card,
but the cashier explained,
I’d have to pay a 3.00 min.
So, to make up the buck,
I chose a “sparkling ice” beverage,
because I buy them, regularly, for $.99 on up to $1.10.
When I asked him, “how much?”
The cashier told me it’d be $2.39 for for the “sparkling ice” beverage.
I decided to go for a coke a cola, since
I could be 99.9% sure, it would cost right around a $1.00.
The coke was $2.89, according to the clerk/owner.
I ended up buying a set of plastic
Mardi Gras beads, to make up for
the $1.00, I was charged, allowing me, to then, purchase a $2.00 bag of chips!
... I left them on the counter.
So, my advice would be,
Please, do not waste your
time or your money trading with this establishment.
At the very least, you are almost sure to leave unhappy.
