First of all, let me start by saying if I could give negative stars I would...I purchased about $100 worth of meat on 10/17 to return home that evening to cook the hot wings and they were spoiled, so I said I'll just return them tomorrow since the store was already closed (they close @ 4:45PM), then I decided to cook steaks for dinner to find out they were also spoiled. So, I called them the very next morning to speak with Michael Ray and he stated, "we do not give refunds." I responded by saying I will then have to contact the Department of Agriculture, and an lawyer...so he hung up. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience with them in the past, but I guess they decided to sell bad meat from hurricane Matthew because of whatever reason...but, now I have no way of getting my money back or replaced because they refuse to accommodate me!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE!!!
Their meat is fresh and the prices are good BUT their service SUCKS!!! I traveled to Savannah from Hinesville just to shop at their store. The posted business hours are from 8am to 5pm. I arrived at a quarter to 5, I was in the store for approximately 5 min when the lights were turned off and I was approached by an employee asking me to hurry up because it was closing time all while I heard other employees complaining about what the have to do and how I guess I was holding them up. I told the employee I was almost done. In the time it took me to grab 2 more packs of meat, I had been yelled at by the manager or owner to hurry up and how they had been waiting on me for 5 minutes and he then so rudely reminded me of their business hours. I hurried to the register feeling mistreated and very disrespected. I looked at the time on my mobile phone and it was 4:52pm. I asked the gentleman about their closing time and he said 5pm and I said that it wasn't yet 5. He told me that's by my clock they do business by their clock which read 5 minutes after 5. He said they open, close and pay their employees based on that clock. It didnt matter what real world time was. He was so rude that I decided not to buy anything. I was so disappointed and appalled by his treatment. I will NEVER spend another dollar there. They really need a lesson in customer service.
I live two blocks from the store and have only been there twice in the past 2 years and this mostly because there stuff is over priced.They have very poor customer service I did not like being referred to as " you people" simply for asking a question. The owner/manager is very rude and argumentative with customers. I will never shop there again.
