I saw Dr. Lee in 2016 for back problems (which are still going on). His bedside manner was abrasive and rude. He consistently cut me off and forced me into yes and no answers as I tried to give him an overview of my pain and when it started.
More importantly, as I tried to explain the sequence of events, I mentioned I'd been prescribed a painkiller and didn't like the way it made me feel. As I attempted to tell him about my bad experience with it, he interrupted me to say, "I am not going to prescribe you narcotics, so don't ask."
So, after paying out of pocket for an MRI, he still assumed I was attempting to "score" narcotics, despite me pointing out blatantly that I did not like them. As I attempted to drive home the fact that I didn't want narcotics, he consistently cut me off and made more implications that I did. He's the most offensive and rude doctor I've ever seen.
I see Dr. McGuire for my other nerve and pain issues, and he's very friendly and helpful. I'll never set foot in Dr. Lee's office again.
