I thoroughly enjoyed seeing The Rome Passion Play last night. Joey Powers was exceptional as Jesus. I hope he 'rises' to the opportunity to do so again next year. Although I had a less than perfect seat, it was tolerable simply by the fact that I was able to be close to the spectacular singing voice of Ahmed Hall. His performance was phenomenal! This was my very first time seeing this play. I urge everyone to plan on seeing it next year. Fair warning: arrive early and bring tissues. And be prepared. As stated: "This performance will change your life." ( or at least your outlook on it).
