Today was my first time trying this place and I am not impressed. For myself I ordered fried pork chops, macaroni, collard greens, and bread. I ordered Salisbury steak w/ rice, macaroni and bread for my boyfriend because he had been wanting some. I also got an order of peach cobbler. First off I watched the cashier give a woman her entire plate for free, along with a slice of cake and a drink but that wasn't the problem. The problems came when I asked did a drink come with the Salisbury steak he was rude when answering me saying "No but you can buy a can soda for $1." The statement was OK it was the tone and facial expression he had when saying it. I didn't reply back rudely just said OK and left. I get home and look in the plates and the presentation made me not want to eat it but I said maybe its good, so I went ahead and tried it. The macaroni wasn't cheesy, the greens was tough and not seasoned well, and the pork chop tasted like it had been fried in fish grease. I asked my boyfriend how was his plate because he only took two bites out of it and he just said "OK." I could tell he didn't like it because its still sitting in the fridge. I didn't brother touching the peach cobbler because it looked disgusting and peach cobbler is my favorite desert so I was disappointed at the appearance. I do not recommend eating here at all. The food is disgusting and I could have saved those twenty something dollars and cooked at home. The picture of the cobbler I posted did it justice because it looks much worst in person and didn't have any bread in it.

Great food...almost like grandma's. Affordable prices! Usually soulfood restaurants can be pricey and give you a teaspoon of food... well you will be satisfied here...right amount of food for the right price and tasty! Good choice!
