Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room

What a fantastic Southern experience! Although the wait was about 1.5 hours it was certainly worth it! Every side dish was perfectly seasoned, the fried chicken was hot/fresh/delicious and the cane syrup was the perfect compliment to the biscuits and cornbread. The sweet tea was made with the perfect amount of sugar and we were very satisfied with our meal. We enjoyed lunch with people from London, Pittsburgh and Northern California and Mrs. Wilkes' granddaughter greets every patron so the personal touch truly made it a 5 star experience.

Great foof! Crowded. Long wait. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Weird way of eating... no ordering sharing tables just like eating with extended family at a house. Strange but good!
