The repairman was very nice and arrived on time.
The part ordering process is long and arduous. It seems to me a poor use of his time to do all this data entry - he should identify the part, and have someone from the office do the actual ordering, Its ridiculous how long it took, and added immeasurably to the time he was in my house by at least an hour or so.
He ordered a replacement part for our ice maker.
He ordered several replacement parts for our gas cook top.
He returned and installed the part for the ice maker.
It did not help the problem.
He ordered a different part for the ice maker.
He returned and installed the second new part for the ice maker.
It did not fix the problem.
He declined to fix the cook top, because he was not sure it would be fixed by Christmas.
I am now on the hook for three sets of expensive parts, and neither the ice maker or the cook top functions. That kind of help I can do without. I will never use this business again, nor will I ever recommend them for anything.
