I highly recommend Dr. Dierkes for orthodontics and especially TMJ solutions. Dr. Dierkes has been treating my daughter for TMJ for the last 2 years. I wish we had known about him before my daughter's first set of braces (which straightened her teeth, but caused her jaw to be dislocated). He is saving my daughter from having to undergo major surgery!! You can tell he truly cares about his patients with his friendly and caring manner. He has a holistic approach to orthodontics and treats the cause of your problem rather than just the symptoms. He is constantly learning about new methods of treatment for his patients. It has been difficult for my daughter wearing braces for a second time and in high school when teens are so concerned about their appearance. He's perfect with her, encouraging her to follow the program without being preachy. His staff is also wonderful to work with, making the experience much more pleasant.
