Don't use a gift card there. We have done it twice. Both times, even though the gift card was new, they would say their wasn't enough on the card. Then they make the excuse that it is a third party bank problem. Never had a problem anyplace else. After doing the math, it appears they try to take an 18% first that is not on the ticket. They leave another 18% on the card. It freezes the card, so when you call the card company, they say there is nothing left. So you put other money with it to finish the tab. They assume you will pay additional for the tip. They saw tonight we figured out their game. They tried to cover. Too late. BBB report tomorrow. Some people just want it all. Not fair to the waiter. But we ended up paying the bill, plus losing $63.00 on our gift card.
