The Lake House at Martins Landing

I have lived here for 3 years now and cannot wait to get out. I've had issues since move-in. First, the quality of the apartment displayed on the web is erroneous and because I moved in site unseen I was very disappointed. Secondly, the grounds around the buildings have trash deposited on them regularly by unruly teenagers and children. I am a teacher so I have no issue with children, but when they are loud, cussing and littering that changes everything. Thirdly, when I moved in to a building that is extremely difficult to access with a moving truck I was not allowed to pull closer to assist my movers. They were forced to haul everything the length of a football field to access the entryway. Since that time, I have seen SEVERAL residents moving in with their trucks right by the door. It was also prohibited to park on the curb when we moved in, although now there are cars and SUVs parked along every curb which block your entry and exit frequently when someone is coming in the opposite direction. Finally, theft and inconsistency in mail/package delivery is a serious problem. I could go on but I think you get the picture. The lake is gorgeous and the walking trail around it is amazing but that is truly the only real draw to this establishment.
