Kerr. Gavric. Alvarez. Dentistry

I have been a patient of Dr. Gavric for about 5 years. I visited after an horrific experience with another dentist. Her gentleness and care was so amazing. I was able to relax with her and begin to trust the dental process again. Even though I live almost 40 miles away, it is so worth the drive to visit this dentistry. The staff is wonderful, and they make you feel at home and like you around family. Laura has been there since I have been coming and she is the best!! The other staff are wonderful as well.

They are always friendly and are very informative about the processes they are using during your appointment. I never feel pressured to purchase any additional or unnecessary treatments. They listen to your concerns and seem to make it a point to make sure that your appointment is as quick and effective as possible. My husband and I both go to this practice and we both really enjoy the staff and their services.

Yesterday was my first visit there and they were all great. From the girl on the phone that helped with the confusion of whether they were in network for my dental insurance - before I even came in to their office - to them being really quick to take me back and get started with them (once I had my new patient info completed). To the dental assistant (Melissa I think) that was super nice and relayed my concerns to the dentist (Dr. Gavric) who also was in the room within minutes. Once there, she, Dr. Gavric, told me exactly what I needed to know - or as much as she could without having to get medieval on one of my molars first. She came across as being very good natured as well, even though she was the barer of bad news for me. She did try to convince me that root canals were not that bad after telling me I might need one. This set off my poo-poo detector and was my only concern with her professional integrity - as I wouldn't count on her be willing to do the same thing with her right hand raised and the other on a bible in a court of law. But - other than that - she took the time to explain to me *why* she thought I might need one through the x-ray they did of my mouth - which I thought was great. The good news is that I should end up getting some of that awesome nitrous gas dentist keep on hand out of the whole deal before it's over with... All this being said, if you're reading this, I'll be happy to accept any prayers and good vibes you're willing to send my way concerning the whole root canal thing and I thank you in advance for doing so.
