Goodwill of North Georgia: Peachtree Corners Store and Donation Center

I’m donating clothes. The operational routine of this is a joke. I’m not the biggest fan of goodwill anyways, but this is the last straw. The car line was long (more so on the side of the employees than the amount of customers there) so I just park my car to walk my donations in. As I walk in, the employee working says that I can’t come in but since I’m already here just drop off the clothes. How am I suppose to know that? There is no signage. Snappy comments, donating clothes for a profit, employees being paid horrible wages, give me a break. I’ll spend the extra effort in donating my clothes elsewhere!

The guys who come out to pick up your donations are pitifully slow. Not only that, unlike EVERY OTHER Goodwill I donate to, they just stand there with a rolling cart while they watch you load your items. The line of cars waiting to donate was 5 deep today - with two guys literally just standing there. I placed a box on the sidewalk and was admonished by the guy for not putting it on the cart! I said, "I'm pretty sure that's your job." Poor, poor customer service. Lots of training needed here.
