I have an office in Savannah and had come down from Atlanta with our new vice president (who just moved here from Dubai) to introduce him to the guys in our office. We went to Fiddler's Crab House for dinner Wednesday night at 7pm (mid-May). No festivals going on, no holidays, no extra city celebrations.
The four of us had a great meal on the patio overlooking River St. but none of us could believe it when the manager came up and asked us to leave because "our check had been closed out for awhile" and there were other people waiting (even though the restaurant itself was not full.
I wanted to adjust the tip on our $125 dining bill (tip not included in that total) but the waiter had done a good job of taking care of us.
However, I can assure you on future visits to our office in Savannah we will NOT be returning to Fiddler's Crab House.
