Went in to use their microwave and got such looks, questions about what I was doing. Once the clerk realized that I was there just to use the microwave, he proceeded to tell me the importance of not putting in aluminum foil. Since my food was not hot I proceeded to heat it up for one more minute. That's when I was told that I could only use it one time. It seemed like it was less about the microwave and more about an uncomfortable visit to the store since I was not buying anything.
For-profit business, I understand. But you're also providing a service for the community. I did not feel welcome. Just my two cents.
The clerk felt obligated to argue with me about everybody knows better than they should when I told him that I knew how to use a microwave even though I was not doing anything to harm or misuse the microwave.
