I don’t understand why the name “Excellent Pediatrics” Nothing, and I mean absolutely Nothing about this office is Excellent! We don’t have a specific issue with Dr. Roger Morales, although his office manager Juliet Ekeiwu, puts some of the blame on him for the inadequacies of this office and staff. I guess one can argue the poor or lack of leadership will show in your office staff. The staff in this office is very rude and unprofessional in every level to say the least. Example: You are met with major attitude, if you ask why you are given an inadequate answer to a very reasonable and simple question. Somehow, we always have to wait a very long time to see the doctor, even with an appointment, office visits here are always 2 hours or longer. The waiting room is not clean and very hot, the whole office is very hot. You would think that a Dr. Office will have the common sense to know that although Cold environments will not kill any Germs or Bacteria, it will at the very least make the sick child and or parent more comfortable, especially if said child and parents must wait hours to be seem by the doctor. This office is very old and in my opinion not very welcoming, it needs to be remodel ASAP. The Office Manager (Juliet Ekeiwu) by looking at her profile on their website, you would think that she is very Passionate and Compassionate about helping people and providing great customer service in the Health Care industry. But by far those are the exact fundamentals and frame of mind that she’s lacking, to excel in her position and profession. I understanding she manages 2 offices, but that is not an excused for not returning calls or messages (never available, always in meetings and/or away on training). Not resolving internal paperwork issues within her office. Not working closely with Insurance Company to resolve refunds that are due to the Patient on a timely matter, instead of passing the blame on the Insurance Companies, Doctor and/or Staff, she needs to be accountable and responsible of her staff and duties as an office manager. In conclusion my wife and I have decided to move our (3) kids to a different doctor’s office, one that will meet and supersede our expectations of a Pediatrics office should be. Furthermore, I would absolutely without any doubt, NOT recommend this office to anyone at all. I strongly believe they need to change their name to just, “Pediatrics Office” or something else but Definitely Not Excellent for sure.
