My boyfriend and I recently went to Blue Ridge, GA for the first time. We lucked out and found Blue Ridge Woods and Water to rent a cabin from. We stayed in the Turning Leaf cabin and loved every minute of it. The cabin is next to a beautiful creek and has a fire pit next to the creek. Our evenings were so peaceful sitting by the fire and the creek. The cabin was decorated like a mountain cabin should be decorated and was very comfortable. The description said the beds were all upgraded. I slept like a queen on the most comfortable matress I've ever been on. One of the beds was made from old reclaimed wood and one was made from a tree trunk and the cabin had 2 bunkbeds that were hand made and they added so much to the decor of the cabin.
And the staff was wonderful. They were very helpful and really took their time to give me directions and maps and to tell me all about the local attractions and what was the best way to see the mountains. The customer service at Blue Ridge Woods and Water is the best I've ever had at a hotel or lodging place. I have already rented another cabin for the spring trip. If you get the chance to go to a Blue Ridge Woods cabin and don't go you'll be missing out on a great trip.
