Ballare Dancewear & Active-wear Store

Buyer beware!!!! Do not purchase anything here unless you are absolutely positive you want it because the return policy is crooked and ridiculous. They will not give a refund but rather will only exchange or give store credit---even if it is within a few days of purchase WITH a receipt. I needed a black leotard for my daughter but did not have a time I could bring her with me so I purchased two in different sizes to ensure one of them would fit. I confirmed with the sales girl that I could return the one that didn't fit and she said "oh yes, of course" but never bothering to quantify that the return would only be good for store credit. When I went to return the owner was there and when I found out I could not do a proper return she rudely stated "it is written here at the bottom of our receipt (I'm sorry I am not in the habit of reading the bottom of my receipts especially after I have asked the salesperson about returns) and posted right here" pointing to the side of the desk that would only be noticeable or visible unless you were sitting down for a shoe fitting and happened to look in that direction. I have NEVER encountered a store that would not issue a refund as long as it was done within a reasonable amount of time and with a receipt. This is greedy and since this is so far out of the norm for a retail store it should be standard practice for sales people to verbally explain the return policy prior to customers making a purchase. I would NOT have purchased both had I been properly informed of this completely ridiculous policy. I will be back before recital to use my store credit and that will be my last trip to this store.
