In December, we added cars and drivers giving them more buisness. In the process, they canceled the policy on my car. When I noticed, I talked to David and he said not to worry, we'll back date every thing and you should be fine. I thought everything was fine. When the renewal came, the premiums went significantly higher and I had to switched insurance companies. After I switched, I received a notice in the mail from the state. They told me to pay this fee b/c I had a lapse in coverage. So called the agency to fix it because they made the mistake. Eventually, they fixed it and I didn't have to pay the fee. But what they failed to mention is they were charging me to fix it. Even more than the state fee. I called to have this fixed and never heard back and now they have sent me to collection.
